WBB GALLERY exhibited photographic prints from various collections, including vintage photographs from the private collection of Peter Wallimann, one of the founders of the gallery. The following museum exhibitions, among others, have been presented in Zurich:

THE WALLIMANN COLLECTION was shown, in excerpts, to around 10,000 visitors in a curated special exhibition at Photo Basel in 2023 under the motto «Pure Photography», and a printed Highlight Article (PDF) was published in the official Gazzette of this international fair for Fine Art Photography.

In 2026, the work «Blue Spirals of Delphinium Early in the  Morning» (1920) by Edward Steichen (1879–1973), former Head of the Photography Department at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), was loaned to the George Eastman Museum in Rochester, New York, for the extensive traveling exhibition Edward Steichen and the Garden (2026 to 2028). «Delphinium» is the only known print of this historically significant negative.

The collection currently comprises 235 original prints by over 60 influential, predominantly American artists of the 19th and especially 20th Century, the latter mainly in the tradition of «Straight Photography». Wallimann’s collection of historical black-and-white photographs is unique in Europe, the focus of the original Silver Gelatin and Platinum prints being on floral motifs and landscapes, particularly of the American West.
