Monika Biermann

Short Profile

Monika Biermann was born in Poland in 1977. She has been painting since her childhood. After graduating from an art-oriented grammar school, she studied Art and Education and then began working as an artist. Her work is dedicated to Nature’s beauty and purity with all its sensuous impressions. Painting or just being outdoors make Monika feel free. She catches the most-subtle impressions of light and color, making visible something pure and unaffected. Her style is related to Impressionism, but with an artistic language that is reduced to the essence and partly abstract. Her oil and acrylic paintings have been exhibited in Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France, and Poland. Many of her works of art are held in private and public collections. The artist lives and works in Switzerland.

Statement
